Casual Spring Outfit with Lucky Brand
Our weather is finally beginning to feel like spring here in the northeast, and I have a full-on case of spring fever. The flowers are blooming, the birds are singing, and the sun is shining, and I just want to be outside all the time now.
During the winter months, I tend to hibernate and spend most of my days at home, but now that the weather is getting nice, I feel like going out! I’ll take any excuse to meet up with a friend for coffee, run to the mall to pick up a few things, or meet my husband for lunch. (In fact yesterday, I did all three!)
Today I’m teaming up with Lucky Brand to share a spring outfit that is exactly the type of thing I like to wear on those kinds of outings.
I was immediately drawn to this layered sweater. Spring weather here in Pennsylvania can be on the cooler side, so the layered look is as practical as it is cute. It’s slightly warmer than a plain tee, but it has the short sleeves so you can wear it right into summer. For a cooler spring day, I’d layer a utility jacket or leather jacket over this outfit.
This sweater has a flattering fit that skims the body and creates curves without clinging, and the length hits right at my sweet spot. For size reference, I have the small.
I love how these fit snug to the body, and the 29″ length is perfect. I did cuff them to show off the cute sandals I’m wearing, but when I wear regular sandals or ballet flats, I leave them un-cuffed. (I’m 5’5″, for reference.)
I think the sandals are my favorite part of this outfit. I actually ordered two different pairs, and I had a super hard time trying to decide between them. I ended up wearing these wedges because they are so incredibly comfortable, and I like the low wedge heel. I tend to wear flats or high heels, so this is a nice happy medium. It’s perfect for running errands or walking the mall.
I also ordered these lace-up sandals and I couldn’t bear to return them, so stay tuned! I’m sure you’ll see them in a future post. Their shoes are currently 40% off, priced as marked, so it’s a great time to pick up a pair or two.
The metal grommets and studs lend a bit of an edge to an otherwise classic leather sandal, and I love that they zip in the back, so once you get the buckle adjusted to your preference, you can just use the zipper when you want to slip them on or off.
This cognac crossbody is the perfect bag for taking along with you don’t want a tote weighing you down. It holds the essentials like my phone, card case, lipgloss, and sunglasses.
I love the trendy tassel detail, and like all Lucky Brand bags, the workmanship and quality of leather is outstanding.
Finally, I accessorized with this layer necklace. It has sold out, but this one is similar. I love their jewelry for their trendy, slightly Bohemian styles.
This outfit is so easy to throw on and go, but it looks stylish and put together with the fun layered detail on the top and the cute sandals and accessories.
