White Jeans Outfit for Fall with Payless

Hello, friends! I’m exited to partner with Payless today to style a fun white jeans outfit for fall!

That’s right. Don’t pack your white jeans away with your summer clothes. White jeans can be a great addition to your fall wardrobe. The key is to make your outfits look intentional. It’s a little bit unexpected to see white jeans paired with boots and sweaters, but that’s part of the fun!

I love the casual, laid-back vibe of this slouchy knit pullover. The faded black yarn gives it a well-loved, worn-in effect, and the wide V-neck is flattering.

Here’s the rear view. I’m wearing a medium in the sweater, by the way. It’s supposed to fit a little bit oversized, and since it’s from the juniors department, I didn’t dare size down. I think it fits perfectly.

These are the Rooda Ankle Strap Booties from Payless. They’re incredibly comfortable, and I like the lower heel for a change. The buckles are a cute detail, although they have a zipper on the inside of the ankle, so there’s no need to adjust the buckles. This cognac color is versatile and will compliment so many fall outfits.

I decided to match my bag to my boots. I don’t always do that, but it seemed to make the most sense for this outfit. This cognac satchel is affordable and really cute. It has plenty of room inside, but it’s not so huge as to be overwhelming. I think it looks a lot more expensive than it is.

I’ve been getting a lot of questions about my hair. I’ve been using the T3 curling wand that my husband gave me for my birthday. I section the top half and clip it up and curl the underlayer first. Then I go back and do the top layer. The smaller the pieces of hair you curl, the tighter the curls are. Also, the smaller the wand, the tighter the curl, but I guess that stands to reason. I usually use the 1-inch barrel.

The secret is to curl your hair away from your face and then wait for your hair to cool completely before you touch it. Then I just run my fingers through it briefly and scrunch it a bit.

I also use hairspray before and after to help it hold. There are a lot of YouTube videos about how to curl short hair if you want to see it in action. If I get motivated one day, I might try to make a video, but you’re probably better off watching on that’s already out there. I’m no pro, but it gets easier every time I do it.

These jeans came in my last Trunk Club. They’re the Paige Verdugo that I have in a few other colors. I really like the fit and the length. I sized up to a 30 (I usually wear 29) and I like the fit. You don’t want your white jeans too tight. They’re not as forgiving as darker colors.

I kept my jewelry simple — hoops, a mixed metal pendant, and some Alex and Ani bangles, and I’m still wearing Fedora on my nails. I have an appointment today to get a manicure. I think I’m going to go for a mid-tone grey this time!
