Sweater Weather: 5 Sweaters Under $50

Hello, friends! I have been working like mad trying to finish my post about my trip with Mazda last week, and I need another day to get it exactly how I want it. I hope to get that post up tomorrow or Thursday at the latest! Also, we photographed two new outfits yesterday, so I’ll be sharing those as soon as I get those posts wrapped up. Meanwhile, let’s discuss one of my favorite fall wardrobe pieces — the sweater!

5 Cozy Sweaters Under $50

For some reason, I’m a sucker for one more cute sweater to add to my closet. It’s the one piece of fall and winter clothing that I tend to over-buy. I just can’t resist a cute sweater. Throw it on with a pair of jeans and booties, and you’ve got an instant outfit. How easy is that!?!

So here are 5 sweaters I either have or recommend that would make great additions to your fall and winter wardrobe and are priced under $50!

5 Cozy Sweaters Under $50

I just ordered this GAP V-Neck Cozy Sweater in Letterman Orange. I had it in the Heather Grey, but the medium was HUGE, so I returned it. Every time I see it on the website, I’m drawn to it so I just ordered the orange in a small. It’s pretty basic, but it just looks so cozy and cute, and I’m a sucker for a V-neck. I also love how the sleeves are extra long. It’s on sale for $39.96 plus 25% off with code TREAT, and it comes in 7 luscious colors!

I’m usually drawn sweaters with interesting details, but sometimes I have to remind myself to buy a few basics that create a palette for scarves and other accessories. This BP. Ribbed Mock Neck Pullover is one of those basics. It comes in 5 colors, and it’s long enough to wear with leggings if you want.

You know how I love and adore this Chunky Pointelle Sweater from GAP, so I had to include it in this roundup. It comes in 7 colors, and it’s currently on sale for $34.96 plus an extra 25% off with code TREAT. The details are so pretty, and the boatneck is flattering for most body types. I have the medium because I wanted a roomy fit, but I could have probably sized down to a small.

This slouchy BP. Cowl Neck Pullover Sweater reminds me of the V-neck sweater I styled with white jeans in this post, but I love a cowl neck so I had to include one in this roundup. This sweater is $49 and it also comes in burgundy, dark grey, and a really cool mustard color. If you’re one of the lucky ones who can wear mustard near your face, you should definitely grab one of these!

I just ordered this LOFT Stitched Tunic Sweater in Violet. I love the pointelle stitching detail, and the wide scoop neck is one of my favorite necklines. It’s $49.50 and currently $20 off that! It comes in 5 rich colors for fall.

  1. I have the first sweater, the V-neck cozy sweater, in the blue in size Medium and it fits great, I ordered the oatmeal color in the same size and it was HUGE! But I love the blue sweater, hasn’t been cold enough here to wear it yet but soon!

  2. Oh Jo-Lynne I love all these…my goodness how do I choose? Getting out the calculator Lol!!! Thank you so very much for posting this!!!

  3. I’m a sucker for a good sweater too. My absolute favorite thing to wear, hands down! These are all great. I do have the bp mock neck in 2 colors, they are so perfect. Up until last year, I pretty much only ever wore sweaters from Gap. They have such good sales, it’s hard to pass them up!

  4. I am new to your blog, but love these sweater options – especially the v-necks. I think I might run up to The Gap this weekend and check it out.
