Insta Recap #3

It’s time for another Insta Recap! These are my faves from the past week on Instagram.

insta recap 3

This is my new Sunday morning mug. The jewelry (with the exception of the ring) was all gifted from Alex and Ani.

More Mimosa Please!

Details: LOFT Vintage Broken In Tee | Fern Rooted Mystery Wrap c/o Alex and Ani | Fern Trail Blazer Beaded Bangle c/o Alex and Ani | Avocado Path of Life Charm Bangle c/o Alex and Ani | Avocado Path of Life Expandable Necklace c/o Alex and Ani | Fern Trailblazer Earrings c/o Alex and Ani | More Mimosas Please Mug

I wore this last Friday to have lunch with my husband, and on Saturday we went out and shot these pictures. He’s playing around with a vintage lens. I love how this one came out with the blurred background and the light on my face, so I posted it to Instagram.

I wish this was a little clearer, but I love this shot of R playing in the leaves.

This is a picture from our family photo shoot a few weeks ago. I don’t know where these gigantic kids came from. I swear, last week they were in diapers.

And this is one of me from the photo shoot. It was fun having a professional photographer taking my outfit pictures on a downtown sidewalk. I felt all fancy and official.

A selfie of an outfit I wore earlier this week. Love a puffer vest with an infinity scarf.

And last night, this sweater arrived in the mail. I couldn’t help but put it on immediately. It is so cozy and warm.

This morning I’m supposed to run my first 5K in well over a year. It’s a nice, flat course on a pretty fall day, and I cannot WAIT to get there. The energy at a race is palpable, and I love being a part of the running community.

I was discharged from physical therapy and I’ve been pain-free for several weeks, but the last few days I’ve noticed some annoying twinges in my left foot again. I really hope it’s nothing. I’ve scaled back a bit on my running this week, partially in preparation for the race, and partially because I’m unsure of what’s going on with my foot and I don’t want to push it. We leave for Disney World in two weeks, so if I get injured I will be so mad at myself.

Everything feels okay this morning, so I think I’m going to go ahead and try it. I don’t plan to really race, anyway. I know I’m not going to PR or anything, but I just want to be a part of it and finish. I would appreciate any prayers or good thoughts you can send my way! The race is at 10am.
