Holiday Gifting Ideas with Bloomingdale’s

With just a few weeks left until Christmas, I’m making my list and checking it twice. I did the bulk of my shopping over Black Friday/Cyber Monday, but I keep coming across things that would make great gifts. Sometimes I almost wish I had more people to buy for!

Today I’m teaming up with Bloomingdale’s to share some cold weather apparel and accessories that I think would make great gifts if you still have a few people to check off your list, and of course you can always Treat Yo Self! I’m a big fan of that.

A few weeks ago I shared these Sorel Joan of Arctic cold weather boots. They’re so much fun to wear whether it’s snowing or not. They keep my feet toasty warm on the coldest of days, and they have a great style factor to boot. Ha! See what I did there???

These boots are fully waterproof, and I find them very comfortable to walk in. I particularly like the combination of the black suede and the taupe faux fur collar.

They also qualify for the Power Points offer Bloomingdale’s is running right now.

SALE ALERT >> Bloomingdale’s Friends & Family Sale through 12/10/17: Take 25% off a large selection of items with promo code FRIENDS, and Lloyalists get a $25 reward card for every $100 spent on almost everything else.

If you’re not a Bloomies Lloyalist, I highly recommend signing up. It’s free, and there are some great benefits — including free shipping and returns on every order.

I had some requests for winter hat suggestions, and I think this chenille hat and scarf set makes a perfect gift for someone living in a cold climate. Plus they’re both 25% off with code FRIENDS through 12/10.

These pieces are soooo super soft, I can’t even tell you. I have the black, but they also come in chambray blue, blush pink, and magnet gray.

And at the risk of beating a dead horse, I think the gift of cashmere is one of the loveliest gifts you can possibly give this time of year. This v-neck sweater is part of the 100% Bloomingdale’s collection, which features exclusive pieces you won’t find anywhere else. I’ve been wearing mine a ton recently.

I’m a huge fan of the raised seams and the rib-knit trim, and it has a nice tight weave to the knit so I know it’s really good quality that will last many years. Bonus, this sweater is 25% off thru 12/10 with code FRIENDS.

There are so many more great gifting possibilities at Bloomingdale’s right now, this is just the tip of the iceberg. I’ll link up some more ideas below.

  1. I love this outfit! I’m trying to order the sweater. Is it TTS? How does it  compare to the Halogen cashmere vnecks from Nordstrom?

    1. It is true to size. I have the small. It has a narrower v-neck and the raised seams and it fits possibly a little bit tighter but I think the sizing is similar. I have a small in both. This one has a nice tight knit, very good quality.

  2. I love the color of this sweater on you, and the chenille hat and scarf set looks so warm. They might be a treat for me! Love all the gift ideas. Thanks for sharing!

  3. Love the chenille hat and scarf. Is it wrong to want it for myself? I’ve never been a hat person, but on a recent trip to Maine, I bought myself one because I was so cold. I now love them for warmth– it’s just hard to find one that doesn’t look too dorky on me. You look great in that hat, Jo-Lynne!

  4. Love the boots, will be great for my painful feet every single day during the winter.
You look awesome in this outfit. I second what Lolo said yesterday about your
blog compared to other bloggers. Thank you for all you do.

  5. You look fabulous!  If y’all have all of your shopping done for this year, buy gifts for next year!  Just make a list of what your purchase for each person, then store all of the gifts in one place.

  6. Those boots are just so cute!  But alas… I live in Texas and would probably only get to wear them once or twice if even that!  ????

  7. Love the casual outfit. Thanks for the suggestions on gifts. Those boots are so cute but don’t need them where I live.

  8. Love the color of the sweater and could have used those boots last night when it snowed in San
Antonio, Texas for the first time in 30 years! It was so pertty but so unpredictable for us and we weren’t prepared lol
It was in the 80’s last week.
