Okay, I’m kind of cheating calling this First Winter Snow since we took these pictures were in the Poconos on Saturday, but they actually got snow here at home as well. Unfortunately it rained and washed it all away so when we got home, it was gone.

You’ve seen my camel reefer coat before. I decided to wear it with this outfit because I like how it plays off the camel in the boots.

My Sorel boots are old, but there are lots of other styles. I love these in particular, and the grey and black go with so much in my closet. MUST. RESIST.

I picked up these cashmere lined leather gloves over the Black Friday weekend when Bloomingdales had them marked way down. They’re still on sale, just not quite as low as what I paid for them. They would make a lovely Christmas gift. Here’s a similar pair for less.

The cozy modal scarf is from Gap, and right now it’s on sale plus you can get 40% off your total Gap purchase with the code GIFTED. This scarf is SO soft. I love it so much I bought two different colors. It would make a nice gift as well.

Underneath, I’m wearing a navy wool cambridge cable turtleneck from J.Crew and my favorite Emma skinnies. I was perfectly warm and dry and comfortable in this outfit. I could have spent hours outside if I’d needed to, but we had other plans. We ended up spending most of the day at the Kalahari indoor waterpark, located next door to our resort.

There’s lots to do on the resort property in milder weather, but my kids are the perfect age for the waterpark, so we took this opportunity to treat them. They had fun, but the whole place is pretty loud and overstimulating, and we were happy to return to the quiet elegance of our hotel for the evening.
