Age Gracefully with Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream

One of the fun things about blogging is getting the opportunity to try new products I might not discover on my own, and as an extra bonus I get to share them with you!

Today I have another product I’ve been testing out that I want to share with you. I’ve been invited by Olay to take another break from my usual skincare routine, and this time it’s to try their Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream.

Sharing my experience testing out Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream & how it out performs most prestige creams: https://wp.me/p6LLka-qe6 AD #Olay

This product has been around for a while and it’s a trusted product by many women, but recently an independent test by the Good Housekeeping Institute showed that Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream outperforms 10 of the top prestige creams, including one with a $440 price tag. I’m usually one to say you get what you pay for, so I was intrigued and eager to give it a try.

Here are some of the findings from the Good Housekeeping Institute that I found particularly compelling.

  • Olay moisturized 400% better than a cream nearly 18 times its price and beat all other products tested.
  • Olay increased moisture by 50% on average over a 24-hour period.
  • In blind comparisons, consumers preferred Olay 80% of the time over expensive creams.
  • Olay improved skin’s texture by 10% in four weeks.

One of the great things about this product is that it’s not just an anti-aging cream, but it’s also a moisturizing and plumping powerhouse. In fact, Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream has been proven to reduce the appearance of lines and boost hydration and brightness after just a week.

After two weeks, skin should be noticeably firmer and skin elasticity should show improvement; and after four weeks of regular use, it can reduce the look of up to 10 years of wrinkles.

I’ve been using Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream for about a week, and I really like the feeling of this product. It is thick and creamy without being heavy, and it goes on smoothly and absorbs easily, leaving my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. I also like that it doesn’t have a strong perfume smell.

It is hard to take accurate before-and-after pictures because the light is different every day and the exact camera settings can be hard to reproduce, but I did my best to take pictures in the same spot at the same time of day. I feel like my skin may be a bit brighter and smoother, and I’m eager to see what it looks like after another few weeks of use.

In the evenings, this product has replaced my normal moisturizer, and then I apply my eye cream afterwards, as usual. I can usual feel some residual moisture when I wake up in the morning so I know it’s working all night long plumping, softening, and hydrating.

In the mornings, I use this cream after my shower. It absorbs easily and leaves a non-greasy, matte finish that is the perfect palette for applying makeup. If I forego makeup that day, I like that my skin looks moisturized but not greasy.

I love that Olay is committed to bringing visible anti-aging results to women without premium prices. You truly don’t need to spend department store prices to achieve beautiful skin, and that is very good news!

    1. It’s hard to compare, there are many lines and they all offer different features. I think both are high quality brands that do a lot of testing and produce products that do what they say they should do. Also this Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream is intended to use morning and night, which is nice because it’s basically 2 products in one.

  1. What do you think of the Olay Regenereist eye cream in the same line? Or was that what you were referring to when you mentioned the eye cream?

  2. I just. Order the redefine rodan and fields is this the same as Olay products. And can I use the okay after the redefine products are gone. It seems Olay I would b half the cost.

    1. Hey Stephanie, they’re two different brands and of course have totally different product line-ups. I think it’s always fun to test out new things. Because we are all different and have different skincare needs, I can’t say what will work best for you, but they are both quality skincare brands and worth giving a try.

  3. Thanks for this! BTW – you look so beautiful and natural without make up!
My normal moisturizer had SPF 30 in it and on days when I’m not “in the sun” (like at kids sports games or the beach) I usually don’t apply additional sunscreen but like that I’m protected a little if I’m outside, and that I’m not applying sunscreen on top of makeup.. Do you use an additional sunscreen on top of this?
Also, I’m REALLY interested in the R&F lash boost. Are you still using it and do you like it? I feel like I could go without make up so much more often if I had some eyelashes and thicker eyebrows. I would love your opinion. thanks.

  4. Thank you Jo-Lynne. I think I will try it. Love your outfit! Have to start pulling together my 4th outfit! I bought these sandals in white and nude and love them! They are a great summer sandal!

  5. Hey Jo-Lynne, just to clarify for my muddled mind, you’re replacing your normal moisturizer with this in the morning and evening? Or is it in addition to moisturizer?

  6. Thanks for the suggestion. What sunscreen do you use with it? I just have SPF of 15 in my foundation and find if I add sunscreen also to my face, it feels so greasy. Any suggestions? Also while I’m asking about sunscreen is there a brand you recommend for your whole body. One that is more chemical free?

  7. Thanks for the post. I have been using Younique night time moisturizer and it’s fine, but I’m not in love. Prior to that, I was using the night time formula from Norwex. Same thing. Good products, but I wasn’t really wowed with the effects. I think I’ll try this next since it’s more cost effective and likely to deliver the same or better results. A new friend told me about your blog yesterday and I’m so glad to have found you. Have a great week!

  8. Hello, I am excited to start using this product but I am weary to use it in the day time because it doesn’t mention spf? Seems to be a separate Olay moisturizer product Olay sculpting cream with spf 30. Do you apply that product too.
