27 Days of Spring Fashion Recap #FashionFriday

Happy April, friends!!! Whew! I’m tired. Anyone else?

Yesterday I wrapped up 27 Days of Spring Fashion — a style collab with Cyndi Spivey. I’ve had so much fun trying some of the new spring trends and figuring out how to make them work for moms like me who spend most of their days at home but have an occasion to dress up every once in a while. I tried to present a variety of styles and price points, and I hope it was helpful as you start to build your spring wardrobe.

Here’s a recap. I’d love for you to pin this crazy long graphic to Pinterest so others can find it!

I have so many posts in the works for April, now that I’m not posting outfits every day. Of course, there will still be more spring outfits, and you can also keep an eye on my Instagram feed, where I usually share what I’m wearing and outfits I’m working on. I enjoy getting your feedback over there!

I’m planning a post on my spring closet, now that this challenge is over and I’m finalizing my spring wardrobe. I’m also working on a post about how to start a fashion blog because I’ve been getting lots of questions about that. I also want to update you on my Rodan + Fields skincare regimen, now that I’ve been using it for a while, and I’ve got a post on spring makeup in the works!

I’d love to hear from you about any topics you’d like to see covered or trends you would like me to try. I can’t guarantee I’ll be able to get to them all, but it’s always helpful to know what you want to see.

Be sure to tune back in tomorrow for an Instagram Roundup, and if you’re not signed up for my daily emails, you can do that here. It’s the only way to be sure you won’t miss a post.

Meanwhile, today is Fashion Friday, so if you’re looking for more spring style inspiration, you will surely find it here. Have a lovely weekend!

  1. I loved your March outfit series — and Cyndi’s as well. I love fashion so seeing how other people pull outfits together is FUN 🙂
I would love love love a post on how to start a blog — I have been gearing up to do just that and I have started gathering some info on Pinterest but I must say it seems a bit overwhelming.

  2. Nice job Jo-Lynne….I think the ones that really stand out from your collage are the blue dress (just so lovely on you), the print maxi skirt (a great statement piece) and the white jeans with pink top (stunning)—although I also pinned your olive green vest with white jeans because it’s such a classic look!! jodie

  3. Yes, Yes, Yes! I would love to know how to start a blog. Love to get ideas of what and how other people are styling. Love your blog!

  4. Your grandmother had great advice! 🙂 But I think many people also need to remember the saying “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.”

Can’t wait for your April posts — especially the one on how to start a blog. I, too, have been thinking about that and would be interested to see how it all starts and progresses.

Have a WONDERFUL day! No fooling! 😉

  5. Thanks for the great spring inspiration! How about a posts on: stylish swimsuits and cute cover ups for various body types? Comfortable shoes for summer vacations with lots of walking — or maybe just an update of one of your past posts on comfy, supportive shoes? Please continue the coffee talk posts too!

  6. Love your blog! I am a pastor’s wife and I read your blog everyday. You are such an inspiration. I started following you about a year ago and your advice has helped me pull some remarkable outfits together. I used to buy everything on clearance so I had a closet full of mish mash outfits and nothing to wear. Now I buy in a more “educated” way. I’ve maybe spent a little more, but I think I look more pulled together. If I can’t afford something I really like I try to copy it with something else. So, thanks for taking the time each day to post what you do!

  7. I love all of your posts and so appreciate all of the ideas! I’d love it if you would give us some ideas for shoe trends for this spring and summer.

  8. Thanks for all your hard work! I ordered a few things from this series.

Have you heard of wunderbrow.com? Would you be willing to try it?

  9. I have certainly enjoyed the Spring series with you and Cyndi. The maxi skirt and the black dress were my favorites. The different price points are so helpful. Love the Payless shoes shoes you have styled. My feet are so funky right now so I have actually avoided buying any new shoes at all. I will have to try them out. Have a great weekend.

  10. I really look forward to seeing your outfits each day! I love how you put things together and accessorize. I received my first “Trunk Club” and loved it! It was hard to decide what to send back and what to keep. I did ask her to include a couple things I sent back in my next Trunk. You have now got me hooked on investing in better denim! I’d be interested in hearing your thoughts on the most flattering pocket placement on jeans. Have a great weekend!

  11. Thank you for doing this series. I really enjoyed it and found a few new favorite pieces to wear, l bought the loft vintage t shirt and LOVE it!

  12. HI JoLynne—great spring fashions. Is there something wrong with Cyndi’s blog? The last post showing is day 26 on March 30th. Her website keeps going down and restarting on me. Could you please let her know? Thanks

  13. Thank you for introducing me to the Sam Endelman Felicia Flats. They are the best ballet flats ever – especially for my narrow heels! I enjoy reading your posts each day – the fashion ideas and your personal anecdotes. I admire your casual conversational style of writing which connects to readers like me so well.

  14. Job well done! You’ve def tried to cover all spectrum of fashion trends and styles for not just the moms but women who just want to get some inspiration from real people and not just for magazine covers.

  15. It’s fun seeing all the outfits together. The bright pink top and the white jeans might be my favorite from this month. 🙂
