Real Food Recipe Roundup Week 3

Welcome to the Real Food Recipe Roundup, a collaboration between Musings of a Housewife and Sassy Moms in the City!

We’re emphasizing all healthy recipes using primarily real, whole foods so whether you’re gluten-free, paleo, raw, vegan, flexitarian or just trying to provide healthy options for your family, there will be something for everyone!

We’d love for you to join our link up below! But first, here’s what we’re eating at my house this week.

Weekly Meal Plan

MONDAY: We’ll be traveling, so realistically, I expect we will order pizza takeout when we get home. May I suggest Turkey Parmesan Pasta from Moneywise Moms? It’s easy and inexpensive and healthy! (And it sounds delish!!)

Each week I will be featuring one recipe from the previous week’s linkup that I want to try to make. I hope to try this out soon!

TUESDAY: Crockpot Pulled Pork is easy and I have the meat in the freezer in the basement… if I can just remember to set it out when we get home Monday night!!

WEDNESDAY: Sausage Scramble with a side salad

THURSDAY: Rosemary Baked Chicken Thighs with roasted broccoli and rice

FRIDAY: Friday Night Chili

We usually do take out or eat out on Saturday, and Sunday is often a free-for-all — either leftovers or sandwiches or, if we’re lucky, dining out!

What are you eating this week?

Thanks for the feature, Jo Lynne! Pizza?! Gah! :)

Make that Turkey Parm Pasta gluten-free if you’d like, and it’s easy enough to put into the regular rotation. My kids just love it, and it’s hearty while fresh and healthy.
