real-food-recipe-roundup-take-2-final

Welcome to the Real Food Recipe Roundup, a collaboration between Musings of a Housewife and Sassy Moms in the City! Alison and I are both passionate about feeding our families real food so we’ve partnered up to share our weekly meal plans, and we would love for you to join us!

The linkup is here this week so feel free to link up a recent healthy recipe or meal plan below. We only request that you link back to one of us, and that the recipes you share use primarily real, whole foods. Then be sure to peruse the other posts in the linky for some healthy recipe inspiration! Whether you’re gluten-free, paleo, raw, vegan or just trying to provide healthy options for your family, there should be something for everyone!

When this posts, I should be well on my way to Maine! We will be stopping over in Boston and Portsmouth, New Hampshire so be looking for photos on Instagram! Speaking of Instagram, have you checked out my new and improved footer (that bar at the bottom of my blog, for the uninitiated). Fun, right?? Thank you Cathy at WordPress Barista for working her magic.

Now for the important things….  don’t forget about our Smart Stick® 2-Speed Hand Blender giveaway!

My favorite recipe from this week comes from Jenn’s Random Scraps, and it’s her Blueberry Lemon Cheesecake Bars. Are you not drooling??????

Meanwhile, here is a menu plan to inspire your culinary adventures! Since I’m away this week, I decided to use this opportunity to feature some recipes from last week’s roundup.

My that cheesecake looks delicious! I have that very smart stick blender and between it and the whipper and chopper attachments I use it all the time. One of my favorite kitchen appliances!

Thanks for hosting, Jo-Lynne! I made the Asian Coleslaw yesterday, and had 2 helpings for lunch. It’s delicious!
