I’ve been writing weekly beauty posts and linking up with these lovely ladies for a while so I’m thrilled to be joining them to co-host this this fun linkup. Be sure to tune in every Tuesday for beauty tips and reviews (and of course a fabulous giveaway!) I hope you enjoy this weekly feature.
The Fourth of July is just around the corner, and I’m having fun with this patriotic red and blue nail polish pair by StrangeBeautiful that came in my June GLOSSYBOX. (You can view my June GLOSSYBOX unboxing video if you want to see all the other goodies inside!!
Do you like to do patriotic nails for The Fourth? You can see from my manicure above that I’m not very creative with the nail art, but if you are, here are some fun ways to dress up your nails for your Fourth of July festivities. I’ve included links to the sites that show you how to achieve these looks, and I tried to choose tutorials that look fairly easy. Let me know if you try one of these!
Easy DIY Fourth of July Nails
Credit: Prudent Baby. I love how simple this one is. They use nail striping tape to achieve the perfectly straight lines.
Credit: Bespangled. These patriotic nails do require some special equipment — a star punch and white sticky labels, but it would be fairly easy to do.
Credit: The Beauty Department. These, I love. She uses strips from a French Manicure kit to achieve the stripes and a dotting tool for the dots. (Who knew there were dotting tools!?) Her tutorial is very explicit, and again, it looks quite doable if you have the right equipment.
Credit: Peek & Ponder. She did this all free-hand. I’m impressed!
