7 Delcious New Year’s Eve Party Recipes

Do you do anything special for New Year’s Eve? We used to always go to fun home parties and stay up all night playing games, visiting, noshing and having fun. These days we are pretty lame and tend to stay home, but we always try to make it special for the kids. We plan to order balloons, have sparkling cider and plenty of yummy treats.

Fondue has become our New Year’s Eve family tradition. The kids love cooking their own meat in the hot oil and dipping bread in the cheesy sauce. Of course, dessert is their favorite . . . marshmallows, fruit and pretzels dipped in chocolate . . . oh yeah!!!!

We plan to let them stay up to watch the ball drop in Times Square this year — because what is more fun than ringing in the new year!??

Whether you are entertaining at home or need a dish to bring to a special party, here are some ideas to whet your appetite!

  1. I made the Buffalo Chicken Dip for a party last night and it was awesome!!!!!! Great recipe!!! Thanks again for sharing!

  2. I’ve been a pinnin’ fool! We’re going to a friend’s house to watch football. There will be 10 children (at least) so I’ve found some great minute-to-win-it type games to entertain them. I’m sure the ret of us will also get swept up in the fun, too. Happy New Year!!!
