Mom Style | What I Wore 07.18.12

There’s not much to show this week. I have been traveling and hanging out by the lake in my yoga pants, but here’s what I’ve got!

This is my neon pink slub tank top from Old Navy. I love this top, it is so casual but has just enough detail to be cute. I always get compliments on it. It’s perfect with my Joe’s cuffed jean shorts and silver sandals from Target. I wore this outfit traveling up the East Coast on our way to Maine.

This outfit is an oldie but goodie. I love the combination of black and loden green, and I never tire of this cargo-style pencil skirt that I picked up at Target on clearance several years ago. The tank has a cute knotted detail on the straps, which you can’t really see in this picture, and the black wedge flip flops are easy to wear. I wore this around the house the day I was packing for our trip, and as you can see, I didn’t even bother to accessorize.

Finally, I wore this pink top and shorts to hang out at the lake and then out to dinner.

  1. Ok. Today in my post I asked how women look cute in summer, because I really have no idea. It’s like 90 something degrees and I’m melting. You make looking cute in summer seem very easy, but I think I’m missing the mark. Cute, cool-looking outfits!

  2. I love that there are so many great tank tops to choose from these days. Their so comfortable and easy! Somehow I can’t seem to tolerate high necks and sleeves now that I”m in my late forties.
