Introducing Fabletics: Affordable Activewear

I have to tell you about my latest fashion discovery — a new activewear line by Kate Hudson. The folks at Fabletics reached out and asked if I’d like to try a few pieces from their March collection. I’m always game for new workout clothes so I accepted their offer and anxiously waited for my package to arrive.

Fabletics provided three product samples for review consideration: the Zanzibar crop in bright aqua, the Oula tank in grey and the Lima capri in black. My first impression when I pulled the clothes out of their packaging was that the fabric felt amazing. It has the feel of very high quality (read: expensive) clothing. But the price point is actually very reasonable, especially for VIP members.

Here I am wearing the Oula tank ($19.95) and Lima capri ($31.95).

I like the fit and feel of both. The top provides plenty of coverage for a racer-back style. I like that my bra straps don’t show, and it’s not so low-cut in the front so I feel modest.

But the capris, I LOOOOOOVE. I’ve been wearing them a ton, both to work out in, to run in, and one day I pulled them on after my shower with a sweatshirt to work from home! They are super soft and smooth to the touch, they are thick enough that you can’t see through them, and the waist comes up nice and high so there’s no muffin top. I absolutely adore these pants, and they retail for $31. Compare that to other running capris that I’ve paid more than twice that for, and I’m one happy camper with Fabletics!!!

Next up, the Zanzibar Crop ($27.95), shown here with a white sweatshirt from my closet.

These are SO SO comfy. I’m actually wearing them with a short-sleeve t-shirt as I type up this post. I wish I could have gotten a better outdoor photo, but the weather wasn’t cooperating. These are the first thing I want to put on when I want to relax. I know I’m going to get a ton of wear out of them this summer.

What makes Fabletics unique is that they actually shop FOR you. Here’s how it works:

  • Create Your Lifestyle Profile – Take our quick lifestyle quiz so we can get to know you better.
  • Receive Personalized Outfits – Each month, you’ll find new outfits hand-selected just for you and your workouts.
  • Shop! – Buy the outfits you love or skip the month altogether. There’s never any obligation to buy.

They have a ton of really cute styles for everything from yoga to running to gym workouts to hanging out in comfortable style. I’m totally crushing on this Kingston Sweatshirt. I hope they get my size back in stock because I need that in my life.

What piece is your fave??

I got an outfit from Fabletics with a cardigan, tank, and yoga pants. The yoga pants are ridiculously comfortable and I wear the cardigan EVERYWEAR. I love it!

Do you mind me asking how sizing is? Did you find them true to your size? I always struggle with which size to order when doing online shopping.

I got 3 pieces: running shorts, running tank, running bra (The “Bond” set) and I found them true to size. I ordered the small in each piece. The shorts are very comfortable but do not fit like Nike running shorts, for example. They are not loose around my thighs but I have bigger thighs! I still like the small in them as they have some give and would order the small again.

I just signed up! I had seen this before but wasn’t too sure about it, if it gets your stamp of approval I’m in! I just ordered my first outfit.

Those are great prices! I’ll check it out. I’m always looking for cute, comfortable and modest running clothes.
I’ve been reading your blog for a few months and really enjoy it. I linked to your website last Friday.
