Holiday Party Shoes at Payless ShoeSource

I’ve been having a blast with my 12 Days of Holiday Outfits posts, and one thing I’ve noticed is how much I rely on shoes to make the outfit. A great party shoe can take many ordinary outfits from day to night in seconds. It’s probably the easiest way to elevate an outfit — along with a couple of fabulous accessories, of course.

Since I don’t wear party shoes every day (they’re a little much for the carpool line!), I don’t like to spend a lot, but I still want shoes that are stylish and fun. That’s why I’m partnering with Payless ShoeSource on this post.

They sent me a gift card to shop with, and I went down to my local store to see what they had for party shoes this year. You guys, I scored big time! They have SO many to choose from, I had a hard time deciding which ones to come home with.

The first pair to go into my shopping basket was this pair of Holly Shimmer Pumps.

These were EXACTLY what I wanted to dress up my LBD. This is the same dress I wore with riding boots and a denim jacket to church. I love how versatile it is. See how the shoes totally take it from casual work outfit to night-on-the-town. I feel like Cinderella in those shoes.

I also like them with these pants and fancy top. Perfect outfit for New Year’s Eve or another holiday party.

I got the gold but they also come in silver as well as this amazing electric blue.

If that heel is too high for you, I also love this Merry Metallic Pump. It’s much more sensible and almost just as fun. It comes in gold, silver and black.

I also like this Kandy Kane T-Strap Pump.

Sigh… so many shoes, so little time! I wish I had enough parties on my calendar to justify buying every single one of these.

No one ever said party shoes have to be heels though. In fact, with the way things are going with my finicky feet, I’m afraid I may have to wear flats forever. These lace ballet flats are just the ticket. I brought these home with me too.

They work with my LBD, and they look especially cute with skinny jeans or the ponte knit pants shown above and a festive sweater.

Payless really nailed it this year with their selection of party shoes. I love how affordable they are, and they have styles that are appropriate for pretty much any occasion.
