Hello from Maryland, and Happy Father’s Day!

I sort of jumped the gun on Father’s Day last weekend, but I do want to give kuddos to all the dads out there on their dedicated day. I am glad for the extra week because I was able to not only get a few things for my own hubby, but I also put Father’s Day cards in the mail to my dad, my father-in-law, and my Grampa. I’m so grateful for the men in my life and the example they are to my kids.

We’re having a blast here in Maryland. I don’t have time to write much, but I thought I’d share a few of my favorite pictures so far.

    1. Hey Lisa. It’s the Hyatt Chesapeake. There is TONS to do. They have golf, tennis, frisbee golf, all kinds of water sports and boat rentals – sailing, jetskis, kayaking, etc. The pool is a nice size, not huge. The teens actually seem to prefer the indoor pool where they can play volleyball or basketball. There’s a Dive In Movie every night in the indoor pool area – although some are geared for younger kids. I wrote more about it here: https://jolynneshane.com/marylands-best-kept-secret-hyatt-regency-chesapeake-bay-golf-resort.html

      1. Being with extended family in IL made it an easier day since my dad died in 1986. i focused on celebrating my husband and nephews that are fathers.

        1. I’m glad you were able to focus on the other fathers in your life. I have a couple of friends who lost their father recently, and I know Father’s Day was rough.
