{Gluten Free} Weekly Menu 02.11.13

gluten menu plan

It’s Valentine’s week! Who has fun, romantic plans?

Has anyone baked any pretty Valentine’s Day treats? I am working on one that I’ll be posting tomorrow. Meanwhile, here’s what we’re eating this week:

MONDAY: Spring Pasta via PaleOMG . . . can’t wait to try this!

TUESDAY: Roasted Vegetable Soup via Sandi’s Allergy Free Recipes

WEDNESDAY: Hamburger Bowls via @Foodiesaurus Rex (cuz I didn’t get around to this last week.)

THURSDAY: {Gluten Free} Turkey and Goat Cheese Lasagna with a side salad (this is my kids’ favorite meal, so I thought I’d make it for Valentine’s Day!)

FRIDAY: Dinner at White Dog Cafe with my Honey . . . can’t WAIT!

SATURDAY: sushi nite! (take out)

What are you eating this week?

  1. I have to cook on Thursday night, so I’ll probably do my sweetie’s favorite meal (meatloaf and mashed potatoes …) and a fun dessert! And maybe some sort of heart pancakes for breakfast for the littles. They are excited about “Balance Time.”

  2. Hi Jo-Lynne, great meal planning recipes! This week, I’m sharing my 3 Day Smoothie Detox Plan, which consists of 6 smoothie recipes and 3 meal recipes. It’s a light-detox that focuses on eating lots of fruits and vegetables and getting plenty of rest! Thanks for hosting the link up and have a fantastic week!

  3. I’m doing our usual red dinner – spaghetti and meatballs for Thursday night.

I just realized that tomorrow night is Shrove Tuesday which means I need a meatless meal for Wednesday. Meatless and preferably gluten-free. Desperately looking for ideas!

  4. This week, we’ll be eating whatever fits into the crazy schedule. I hate going into a new week without a menu plan, but it’s too nuts and too up in the air. I’m thinking lots of easy, and lots of pressure/slow cooker as needed.

  5. Gfree scares me. It makes me feel like it’ll have to take over my life in order to really do the diet well. I know we all would benefit from it tho. I am just so not a foodie.

    1. You really do NOT need to be a foodie! Not at all. The trick is to keep it simple. I often just make a meat, a veggie and a potato or rice. It’s not as bad as I feared, but I do confess to buying a lot of convenience items.

  6. Thanks for mentioning my Roasted Vegetable soup. I hope you enjoyed it!
Sorry I didn’t reply sooner, but I just got back from holidays.
