Don’t Fret the Sweat!

I’ve agreed to co-host a Talk on TheMotherhood about Tweens and Heading Back to School featuring parenting expert Rosalind Wiseman, author of the New York Times bestseller Queen Bees and Wannabes.

This topic is certainly applicable to my life at the moment, and I always love a good Talk at TheMotherhood. I have two “tweens” in my house – my son is almost 12, and one of my daughters is almost 9, and if she doesn’t officially fall into the “tween” demographic, I can tell you, she sure acts like one! Getting back into the school routine is taking some work, but we’re getting there.

During this Talk, we’ll discuss how to get back into the school routine and offer advice on guiding tweens through classes, after-school sports, rough spots with friends, bullying and more. It should be informative and great fun!

So mark your calendar, and join us tomorrow, Tuesday, September 20, at noon ET. My fellow co-hosts are:

Connie, Brain Foggles
Theresa, Faith and Family Reviews
Stephanie, And Twins make 5!
Liz, Thoughts of a Mommy
Jennifer, Mom Spotted

  1. I am a HUGE Rosalind Wiseman fan (and had the chance to meet her!) I have been following her on Don’t Fret the Sweat and so glad to see you involved in this. I recently finished Queen Bee Moms and KingPin Dads… THAT was a great book too!Ahh yes, I have an 11 and 9 year old and I am living in ‘sweat’ myself these days 😉
