Comfortable and Affordable Fall Fashion with Payless ShoeSource

As you know if you’ve been reading my blog for any length of time, I have what I not-so-fondly call “finicky feet”. Finicky feet do not bode well for my penchant for fashion. Every time a doctor tells me I need to wear sneakers the majority of the time, I have to explain that I HAVE A FASHION BLOG. Sort of. You know what I mean.

Of course, my fashion is all about real life so I have to find the perfect marriage of fashion and comfort when it comes to my footwear choices.

Fortunately the fashion world has come a long way for those of us with finicky feet, and there are more and more options for attractive footwear each season. Unfortunately, stylish comfort shoes often come at a price — a large one. Until now!

Comfortable and Affordable Fall Fashion with Payless Shoe Source

Payless ShoeSource has answered the call for affordable and stylish comfort shoes, and I am so excited to partner with them on this post about affordable fall fashion. With their Dexflex Comfort line and Comfort Plus by Predictions, Payless has a wide variety of cute comfort shoes at affordable prices and they asked me to check them out and style an outfit or two.

We have a Payless not far from my house, so I stopped in to see what I could find and I was overwhelmed by the cute choices. I had been alotted $50 to spend, so after much deliberation, I came home with two pairs of shoes and I still had about $9 left on my gift card, thanks to the BOGO promotion.

I almost got the Karmen Pump in nude patent.

But at the last minute, I decided it was too safe so instead I came home with the Janine Pointy Toe Pump. It is surprisingly comfortable for a pump!

I’ve been wanting a shoe like this, but my lifestyle doesn’t lend itself to wearing super dressy pumps very often. I figured this was the perfect opportunity to add this style to my wardrobe and see if I find myself wearing it. Since the heel isn’t super high, and it has the comfort foot bed, I have a feeling I might end up wearing these more than I think. They are soooo cute, yes????

I also bought the Daylight Wedge in black.

This is very similar a pair of shoes I have in silver and beige that I wear often. I’ve wished I had them in black, so when I saw these at Payless, I snatched them right up! I wore them several times when I was in Seattle last week, and they definitely live up to the hype. I was truly impressed with the level of comfort they provided.

Payless also carries boots and booties as part of their comfort lines, and they are right on trend.

I had a blast styling these shoes — especially the pointy toe pumps. Since both are quite versatile, the possibilities are virtually endless.

For the style challenge, I decided to show you both a dressy look and a more casual look with the nude patent pumps.

First, a classic ensemble: a versatile dress with nude pumps. You simply cannot go wrong pairing nude pumps with a jersey wrap dress like this one. This is perfect for a date night or church, or you could throw a blazer on with it and wear it to the office.

For my second look, I wanted to try something a bit more edgy. I’m always admiring the fashionistas on Pinterest wearing pointy toe pumps with boyfriend jeans or camo pants so I decided to give it a go.

I always thought I’d feel ridiculous wearing this combination but I actually really like it.

I’ll definitely wear this outfit for a GNO sometime.

As for the shoes? Super comfortable, even with the pointed toe and the more delicate heel, I feel like I could wear these all night. If you’re looking for stylish comfort shoes at affordable prices, definitely check out your nearest Payless ShoeSource!
