Chambray, White & Leopard + Bloomingdales DENIM DAYS Sale

Good morning, friends! Happy weekend! It’s a beautiful morning here in the Philly burbs, although it’s quite a bit colder than it has been. It’s still hard to believe we’re expecting a snowstorm tomorrow. So much for the official First Day of Spring!

Fortunately, Bloomingdales has you covered. They’re running their famous DENIM DAYS promotion right now, so if you’re stuck inside all day tomorrow, you can sit by the fireplace in your jammies and shop for spring clothes online! That doesn’t sound half bad, now, does it???

Denim Days

At the end of this post, I’ve gathered a great roundup of jeans that are available for 25% off at the Bloomies Denim Days event, so scroll down for that.

Meanwhile, I have a classic spring outfit for you today — chambray and white with a pop of leopard. This is pretty basic, but it’s crisp and cool and easy to replicate at any price point.

Chambray & White with Leopard

Outfit Details:
similar chambray popover HERE and HERE $59
distressed white ankle jeans $178 (or try THESE $49)
similar leopard flats $119 (or try THESE $29)
similar Michael Kors Tote $198 HERE and HERE (Bloomies Spend More, Save More SALE!)

I will never tire of white and chambray. The leopard flats give it an updated look, but you could also wear a pop of red, or wouldn’t blush colored flats be adorable with this!?! I just ordered THESE in rose. I can’t wait to style them. But I digress.

Loving this crisp and chic look for spring! Chambray shirt, white distressed ankle skinnies, and leopard ballet flats!

The popover chambray top was a LOFT find last fall. It’s long gone, but I linked to a few similar styles above. I like the back pleat detail.

I grabbed the luggage-colored tote to carry with this outfit because it plays so well off the leopard flats. I love how the contrasting straps pull from the lighter tones in the shoes.

This is a fantastic everyday bag. The leather is soft and sumptuous, and it’s just the right size to hold the essentials without being overwhelming. The zip top keeps everything secure. I’ve had mine for years, and it often takes a backseat to my brighter bags, but it is one I will always keep because it’s such a classic.

If you just like to carry one bag, I would highly recommend this because it’s so versatile. It often goes on sale at Macy’s, or if you are a Bloomingdales Loyalist, they’re running a big Spend More, Save More Sale right now in addition to their Denim Days promotion. They carry THIS BAG, and I believe it qualifies. The sale ends tomorrow, 3/20.

I styled this outfit with my J. Brand Low Rise Crop Jeans in Demented White Distressed, but you could certainly wear a chambray shirt with any white jeans. If you’re in the market for white jeans, the Bloomies Denim Days event is the perfect opportunity to try a few out.

I often buy my denim during the Bloomies Denim Days sales. In fact, those pink Paige Verdugo Skinnies I’ve been watching just hopped RIGHT into my shopping cart!!! (I didn’t love the AEO blush jeans in size 8 when I went to the mall yesterday, but I bought them and brought them home so I can do a little comparison. I’ll keep you posted!) By the way, the Verdugo Skinnies also come in MINT!!!

Spring Outfit Inspo: Chambray & White with Leopard Flats

I threw on my orange leather wrap bracelet for a pop of color, and it occurred to me as I edited these pictures that my coral hobo bag would have been a great addition to this outfit. I love orange accessories with blue and white, and orange always seems to go well with leopard.

This is such an easy outfit to throw on, but it always looks crisp and chic. You just can’t go wrong with white and denim with leopard accessories!

  1. I love this outfit! It’s one of my go to’s…down to the leopard shoes- we are twinsies when it comes to fashion! Except you are more on trend than me. I haven’t bought distressed jeans yet. I just remember hating holes in my knees in jr. high and can’t bring myself to do. LOL. I also LOVE the tote. The straps on my brown tote just broke. I like the contrast of the straps. xx-S

      1. Ooooh!!! Good to know! Mine is an older version of the one I linked to, so I guess it has made its way to the off-price retailers. You can get some great deals at Ross. I am currently wearing a Ralph Lauren dress that I got there last spring for a song. 🙂

  2. I just love outfits that are simple and classic yet still polished looking. This is definitely that! You look fabulous! Love the lace up flats you linked too. I seriously went back and forth on those, especially when Macy’s had them in their VIP sale last week! I have a couple different kinds right now and just love them, even though they are quite the pain. You certainly can’t just slip on and go, lol.

  3. So cute! Watching you and Cyndi style leopard flats has given me the courage to try them. Lol.

I found a Christian Siriano Dena Smoming Loafer in leopard at Payless Shoes. I wanted a kind of “dressy” leopard flat. I think I’m going to go buy a ballet type one as well.

    Keep the cute ideas coming!

Oh and I hope the weather doesn’t get too bad there. I’m north of Dallas and we’ve had amazing weather! We’ve been in the 70’s but it’s only going to be 60 today. 🙂

    God bless you!

  4. Wait, I just read you went to Gordon College. What year did you graduate? I met my husband at Gordon too. I’m 45.
I wear this combination a lot too- denim, white, leopard. You look great!

  5. Great outfit!! And I agree with you about the bag – I bought this bag at Off Saks on sale in the Stone color. Absolutely to die for!!

  6. Jo-Lynne, love this except no distresses jeans for this old lady. Please tells us deets on that adorable orange bracelet.

  7. A great spring outfit. The leopard flats kick it up a notch! A “pin worthy” outfit to add to my Pinterest board!

  8. I love this outfit! Casual, yet polished. All the pieces can be worn with other items. Thank you for giving some less pricey options too, so we can replicate while picking and choosing where to splurge. You look great!!

  9. So glad I bought that chambray shirt when you first showed it because it’s been sold out ever since. I love it!
