Good morning from the snowy Pocono Mountains! We’re being hosted this weekend by The Inn at Pocono Manor, and it’s so festive and Christmassy here. They’re all decked out for the holidays, and every view out every window is snow-covered mountains and trees and stone buildings. When we were invited to experience the resort and their holiday festivities, our only free weekend was this one, the last full weekend before Christmas. I debated the wisdom of leaving town
We love traveling as a family and also as a couple. I share about all of our travel experiences, whether I'm alone or with my husband or with our whole family. Most of my reviews focus on the accommodations, but I sometimes cover things to do in the area, and I also have a section on Things to Do with Kids. The Eastern Shore of Maryland is known for its legendary seafood, gorgeous beaches, and hidden treasures – and the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort is definitely one of those treasures. I keep saying it’s one of Maryland’s best kept secrets. This luxurious waterfront resort that is tucked away on Maryland’s scenic Eastern Shore offers relaxation and adventure for families, couples, and even solo travelers. I generally think of resorts like this as existing only in tropical locations, but the Hyatt Chesapeake
What to Wear to Disney World is one of my all-time most popular blog posts, but styles have changed tremendously since I originally posted four years ago so I’m updating it for 2016! Let’s start out with what NOT to wear. Pleeeeease DO NOT wear this. Anywhere. Disney is certainly no fashion mecca, but that’s no reason to throw all sense of style to the wind. You can be cute AND comfy at a theme park. It just takes a

I have family in Bangor, and we paid them a visit at least once every year while I
