Well, the rain is back. I seem to recall many rainy Memorial Days, for some reason. I’m not sure why it always seems to rain on this day. It is warm, though, so there’s that. And we have had several gorgeous sunny days, so I can’t complain. What are y’all up to today? We used to go back to the town where my husband grew up for their annual Memorial Day parade. We would meet his parents there, and it was
Looking for wearable spring fashion inspiration for real women? These posts are chock full of the latest spring fashion trends translated into real life outfits for the average suburban mom.
I wore this outfit out to dinner last Saturday night. It was a chilly, rainy night, but I wasn’t willing to bring my ankle boots and sweaters back out, so after some scrounging, I put this outfit together. It was perfect. The top was light enough to look springy but had enough coverage to make sense for the icky weather we were having. Good morning, lovelies!!! Our glorious two days of sun are behind us, and it is supposed to be dreary and rainy for the next four days. I thought I’d dip my toe into the off the shoulder top trend with this navy slub knit top by one of my favorite brands, Splendid. I really like the look, but I wondered if I’m too old and should take a pass on this trend. I received a lot of positive feedback when I posted this outfit on Instagram, so I decided to go ahead and shoot it and then decide. Unfortunately, I don’t think this particular off the shoulder top
LOFT went and did it to me again. I found a great dress to share with you, and before I get around to posting, it’s gone to Final Sale. At least they seem to have all sizes available at the moment. This jersey material on this Double V-Neck Maxi Dress is SO super soft, I can’t even tell you. It’s quite comfortable and easy to move around in. I love the diamond
