Last week I shared my Fall 2017 Wardrobe Essentials so today I thought we could talk more about boots since they are one of the best things about fall fashion. Can I get an amen? When deciding how many pairs of boots you need and what colors and styles you should to have in your closet, it’s important to do a quick lifestyle audit and think about what types of clothing you usually wear, what your weather is like, and of course your personal style aesthetic.
Looking for wearable fall fashion inspiration for real women? These posts are chock full of the latest fall fashion trends translated into wearable everyday outfits for the modern woman.
Greetings, friends! Can you believe the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale ends tomorrow? I’m not mad about it. I feel like it’s been going on FOR-EV-ER, but before it ends, I’ve got one more roundup of #NSale styles that are still in stock in case you want to take advantage of the sale prices before they go back up on Monday. Before we get going, I want to update you on my hunt for slide loafers yesterday.
Yesterday we talked about fall wardrobe essentials, and today I thought we could talk about some of the fun fall trends we may want to incorporate into our closets this year. While I’ll spend a little more on the basics that will see a lot of wear and tear and hopefully be in my closet for years to come, trendy pieces like the ones I’m sharing in today’s post are the ones I recommend trying to find at more budget-friendly prices.
One of my most popular blog posts is always my Fall Wardrobe Essentials so I’m posting an update for 2017. While there’s still a lot of summer left, it’s not too early to start planning our fall wardrobes. I like to shop early, before the fall styles are picked over and the popular items are gone. At the very least this is a good time to start making a list so when you’re shopping, you know what you need and you can snag it when you see a good deal. Here’s my list of 2017 Fall Wardrobe Essentials and some product suggestions at various price points.
One of the biggest color trends for fall 2017 is spruce green. I’m seeing it everywhere in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale — bags, shoes, jeans, sweaters, dresses… You name it and it’s available in spruce green. You can call it spruce or pine green or evergreen or military green or whatever you like. The actual Pantone color in the 2017 Fashion Color Report is Shaded Spruce, so I’m going with spruce. I ordered all three spruce green denim options from the #NSale so I could compare and style a few outfits to show you how versatile they are.
It’s been a few days since we’ve talked about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and I didn’t want anyone to start going through withdrawal symptoms (ha!) so I thought I’d share some of my favorite styles that are still in stock. Everyone has been a bit disappointed this year with the lack of restocks and things selling out so quickly, but there are still a lot of goodies to be had. Here are a few of my favorites.
Hello, friends. Happy FRIDAY! Public access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale started at 3AM and things are already flying off the virtual shelves. Yesterday I updated my Guide to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale post with my latest product details and recommendations since I’ve tried on a lot more of the styles since I originally wrote the post. Today I’m sharing some fall outfit inspiration from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I know it’s early to be thinking about fall, but this way you can shop these looks now if you wish, and if you like the ideas, pin these pictures to your fall fashion Pinterest board to use for outfit inspiration when the leaves start to change and Starbucks is serving pumpkin spice lattes again!
