Hello and happy hump day from Pennsylvania!!! Yes, I’m writing from the comfort of home, and it feels wonderful. We got in around dinnertime last night after a remarkably uneventful drive down the East Coast (praise the Lord!) and I’m all unpacked and put away and ready to hit the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I’m headed to the mall this morning to get a sneak peek, and I’ll be posting my Guide to the #NSale first thing tomorrow morning. You can follow along on Instagram (I’ll be posting to my Insta Story while I’m at the mall today) but I don’t think I’ll be able to link to anything until Early Access begins tomorrow morning. Meanwhile, I’m sharing my July Favorites today — this is a collection of new finds and old favorites that I’m particularly loving right now.
Skin Care Posts
Over the years, I've reviewed quite a few skin care products and offered some tips and tricks for keeping our skin looking as youthful as possible as we age. Feel free to peruse the archives, and reach out to me if you have any questions or suggestions for future posts!
One of the fun things about blogging is getting the opportunity to try new products I might not discover on my own, and as an extra bonus I get to share them with you! Today I have another product I’ve been testing out that I want to share with you. I’ve been invited by Olay to take another break from my usual skincare routine, and this time it’s to try their Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream.
Like so many women, I’m busy juggling a family, work, marriage, friends, and church commitments, so I’m always interested in learning more about a product that claims to give me some time back in my day. If I’m looking for time-saving hacks, I figure you probably are too, so I’m partnering with Olay to test out their Daily Facials Daily Clean 4-in-1 Water Activated Cleansing Cloths and share my experience with you. I don’t know about you, but one of
A few weeks ago, I told you guys about the new Curél® Hydra Therapy Wet Skin Moisturizer I was going to be trying out. This lotion is specifically designed for applying to wet skin immediately after your shower and before toweling off. You can read more about how it works in my first post. Today I wanted to follow up and let you know how it’s been working for me. Many of us suffer from itchy, dry skin, especially in the wintertime. For me, it’s like
I’ve been using Rodan + Fields for 4 or 5 months now, and I keep getting asked if I still like it and what I recommend. I do still like it very much, but I have changed the skincare regimen I’m using, so I decided it was time to write a Rodan and Fields Soothe Regimen Review. First of all, for those who aren’t familiar, Rodan + Fields was started by the two dermatologists who created Proactiv®
When I decided to start using Rodan + Fields, one of the products I was most excited to try is their REDEFINE Multi-Function Eye Cream. It is one of their most popular products. In fact, they have a hard time keeping it in stock, so if you want to try it, grab one while you can. I’ve been having trouble with bags under my eyes for a while. It’s not super noticeable in person yet, but in pictures it
When I did my tidying up throughout the house last week, my bathroom was the first place I addressed after I was done with my closet. I tossed out a gazillion samples of beauty and skincare products I’d been sent to test out and report on over the past year or so. For some reason, after I’m done testing them, I tend to keep them “just in case.” Now all that’s left is the skincare regimen I’ve been using lately:
