I don’t know about you, but I search online for information a gazillion times a day. Whether I’m researching a topic for a blog post or figuring out a problem with my website or hunting down a certain recipe or looking for medical advice . . . I’m ALWAYS searching the Web for something.
In fact, it’s become a joke between some of our friends that by the end of the night, we always end up on the computer searching for information on something — usually to prove ourselves right about a particular issue of debate.
I doubt I’m alone in this. Let’s face it. We have all this information at our fingertips . . . who can help but use it? Well guess what?
I just discovered through this sponsored campaign with Bing that you can actually earn rewards for searching the Web.
That’s right. Every time you search the Web, you could be earning credits towards to redeem for popular gift card brands. All you have to do is sign into Bing (they will automatically keep track of the rewards you earn) and set your browser to search the internet with Bing; then you’re on your way!
There are a wide variety of ways to earn reward credits. For example, you can earn for searching every day, for setting your home page to Bing, for inviting friends to try Bing, for trying out new features or taking a product tour. There are new ways to earn every day.
The more you search with Bing, the higher your status in the program (e.g. Member, Silver, Gold status etc.) The higher your status, the more value you get – like discounts in the redemption center and access to exclusive earning opportunities.
And it just got easier to earn points because Bing Rewards is now available for iOS!!! Not only can you earn rewards from searching the web at home on your computer, now you can search and earn on the go. And when you use Bing to search on your phone, you can earn up even more credits.
The first thing you want to do is go into the Settings on your iPhone or iPad and scroll down until you see the Safari link. Click that, and then change your Search Engine to BING.
Redeem your credits at any time in the Rewards Redemption Center and apply them to gift cards at popular stores or donations to your favorite charity.
There are a lot of programs that offer rewards for using their site, but none seem quite as easy as this! I mean, we all search the internet constantly, right???
You can join today at Bing Rewards. I set a goal to earn a Starbucks gift card, and there’s a little ticker on my Bing Rewards dashboard that keeps track of many points I need to reach my goal.
I’ve only been using Bing for a few days so I have a ways to go but I hope to be cashing in my Bing Rewards points for a Starbucks Card before I know it!
I’m new to Bing, but so far I am really pleased with it compared to the other search engines. One thing I really like about it is that you can turn on a Safe Search in your settings.
I have kids around and I hate it when I search for something benign and the next thing I know I’m looking at some model’s bewbs. So I set my Safe Search to Moderate: Filter adult images and videos but not text from your search results.
Maybe you can do that with other search engines, I don’t know, but I’ve never noticed it.
Try it out and see what you think! If you like it, make sure to sign up for Bing Rewards so you can start earning points right away!
I’m required to disclose a sponsored partnership between our site and Bing. I have been compensated in exchange for this post in the form of payment, product or experiences.
