Best of Beauty | Therapon Anti-Aging Lip Complex

For the past few months, I have had this really annoying patch of itchy/irritated dry skin on my upper lip that flakes and peels and itches and burns. It’s really lovely. I’ve tried chapsticks and moisturizers and lip balms and nothing really seems to help until now.

Lately I’ve been trying out the newest brainchild of Therapon’s Dr. Beckman — the Theraderm Anti-Aging Lip Complex.

It is described as a Peptide-infused, rejuvenating lip enhancer.

I didn’t really know what to expect. It says it reduces the appearance of lip lines and increases the appearance of lip volume. I don’t know about you, but any time I’ve tried a lip plumping cream or lipstick, they have always caused burning and irritation.

This Anti-Aging Lip Complex does none of that.

It goes on clear and thick, almost oily — but not in a bad way. It is very soothing and comfortable. It hasn’t necessarily healed that dry patch, but as long as I apply it morning and night, my lips stay moist and smooth and don’t feel irritated at all.

I can’t say whether or not they appear plumper, and I really don’t have fine lines yet, but my lipstick does seem to stay on better. I’ve had trouble with it feathering into my skin even with lip liner — I think because I tend to use colored lip gloss as opposed to lipstick, but with Therapon’s Lip Complex, my lip color seems to stay, well, on  my lips.

It also contains NO parabens, gluten, menthol, camphor, or other irritants.

This Anti-Aging Lip Complex has quickly become a regular part of my morning and evening skincare routines. I love how it makes my lips feel. And priced at just $18.75 (limited time only — it will regularly sell for $25) it’s a steal compared to other anti-aging products I’ve seen.

  1. I would love to try this. I’m getting lines, even though I’ve never smoked and I’m not really old enough for it! I’d pretty much try anything.
By the way, your Olay ad is simply gorgeous!!! You look beautiful.

  2. I would give this a try. I am addicted to Lip Medix, but that doesn’t necessarily help with lines and lipstick bleeding. I am always up for something new!

  3. I’d love to try it because of the dryness factor of my lips in the coming winter season. They are always terrible in our cold PA winters.

  4. I would love to try this! I’m knocking on the 40 door and noticing all sorts if things happening on my face!

  5. I’d like to try Therapon Anti-Aging Lip Complex because I’m a lip balm junkie rapidly approaching my mid-30s. And no irritants and parabens? I love that, because my skin is sooo sensitive.
