Today is Day 22 of 26 Days of Fall Outfits! It has been unseasonably dry this fall, but we had one rainy day a few weeks ago, so I took the opportunity to dust off my rain boots.
I love the combination of grey and plum, so I decided to wear my plum skinny jeans. From there, I added a grey long-sleeve t-shirt and a grey and black animal print scarf. Then I layered my coated cotton moto jacket on top of that.
Coated cotton is fabulous because it looks like leather, but it has the comfort and the price tag of cotton. I had a hard time finding a similar one to link to. I found this at LOFT last fall. Faux leather moto jackets are easy to find nowadays, and they can be quite affordable. I linked to a couple in the outfit details at the end of this post.
Here’s a rear view.
I accessorized with silver and carried my black moto hobo.
This outfit is chic enough for lunch with the girls and practical enough for running errands on a Saturday.
These Hunter rainboots are incredibly comfortable. They have a molded footbed, which is perfect for my finicky feet. I ordered and returned a few pairs before I finally decided to pull the trigger on these. It helped that they were on sale. If you watch, you can find good sales on Hunter boots on Shopbop and Nordstrom. I used to hate rainy days, but they don’t seem nearly so inconvenient now that I have rainboots!
